What does Christian Family Care Agency do?

Christian Family Care Agency provides a broad spectrum of services that promote the physical and emotional well being of children and families.

These services include:

  • Child and Family Counseling

  • Foster Care

  • Adoption

  • Pregnancy Counseling

  • Family Attachment Counseling

Is CFCA a non-profit organization?

Yes.  CFCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit social services agency.

Do you only serve Christian children?

No.  Christian Family Care Agency is happy to provide help to any child in need regardless of their color, culture, disability, ethnic group, gender, race, religion or socioeconomic status.

Do you charge for your services?

There is no charge for pregnancy counseling, voluntary foster care or to become a foster parent.  A fee is charged for Child and Family Counseling and Adoption services.  Fees are based on the actual cost of services and may be modified on individual need.

What is your annual budget?

Our budget is over $5.4 Million annually, making us the 16th largest non-profit organization in the State of Arizona.

How are you funded?

A portion of our funding comes from the fees we receive from contracts we have with various State agencies, from the clients of insurance companies we serve and from individuals themselves.  However, those fees do not fully cover our expenses.  The remaining needed funds are received from private donors, grants, foundations and other fundraising activities.

How many employees do you have?

We employ approximately 85 people in Phoenix and Tucson.  The vast majority of these employees directly care for children and families.

What are your greatest needs?

We need funding in order to be able to help more families beyond those we currently assist.  We are in need of loving and nurturing people willing to be foster or adoptive parents (a very difficult but rewarding job) and we always need volunteers.
